Are you feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of adding dog training to your busy schedule? A board and train program might be the answer. Dogs who come here for Boarding and Training receive undivided attention. We generally only take one dog at a time, or multiple dogs from the same family. Boarding dogs sleep in a crate in the house. During the day they will socialize with well-mannered resident dogs in between training sessions. And training sessions are on-going throughout the day. The location is a quiet, peaceful country setting with three large fenced areas around the house and training building for dogs to romp, train and play in. You will receive progress reports via email every few days, one follow-up training session in your home and written materials for you to reference when working with your dog. Training methods are dog-friendly, force-free and focus on positive reinforcement. We do not use electronic shock collars (E-collars), physical punishment or harsh leash corrections.
**Come when called is an exercise that requires time and practice for the dog to become proficient. The progress we make will depend on the amount of time your dog is here.
